Whittley Marine Group has introduced its latest innovation, the CR 3100 OB, at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
This 31-foot outboard-powered cruiser is designed to offer a blend of overnight accommodation, trailerable practicality, and extended cruising capabilities, all within Australia's 2.5-metre maximum width regulations.

The CR 3100 OB caters to boating enthusiasts seeking the flexibility of a trailerable vessel without compromising on comfort. Below deck, the cabin features a queen-sized island bed with walk-around access, bedside tables, and an innerspring mattress. A fully enclosed bathroom adds to the convenience, making overnight stays more comfortable.

A notable design element is the walk-through windscreen, which eliminates the need for traditional side decks and provides central access to the bow. This innovation enhances internal space and improves movement throughout the boat. The rear lounge is adjustable, allowing for maximized entertaining space or increased fishing room and water access, depending on the user's preference.

The CR 3100 OB is equipped with a 48-volt electrical system capable of powering onboard equipment, including an optional electric grill and air-conditioning system, without the need for an onboard generator. This feature supports off-grid weekend adventures on the water, offering the freedom of a private waterfront retreat wherever one chooses to anchor.

At the helm, the boat includes a two-person bench, a separate bucket seat to port, twin Raymarine multifunction displays, and a gloss-black dashboard layout. Power options include twin Honda BF250 V6 outboards or a single Honda BF350 V8 configuration. A fully electric Naut E 3100 power option is also available. Twin-engine installations can be paired with Whittley's optional 360-degree joystick control, while single-engine models feature electric steering as standard.

The hull design incorporates wide chines, a 19-degree deadrise, sharp bow entry, and full-length strakes. The boat cruises at approximately 29 knots and can reach speeds approaching 46 knots, depending on configuration and conditions. Humphree automatic trim systems are fitted as standard to enhance performance.

The CR 3100 OB is available for viewing at the Whittley Boating Centre Gold Coast stand during the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show from 21 to 24 May 2026. Pricing starts from approximately $462,000, including a trailer, with highly optioned models approaching $550,000.
