Among the highlights is the Asia-Pacific debut of the Aquila 50 Sail, the brand's first sailing model. Launched earlier this year at the Miami International Boat Show, the 50 Sail combines Aquila's expertise in power catamarans with the elegance of sailing, offering features such as bridge-to-bow access, a fixed bow entertaining space, and multiple cabin configurations to suit various cruising styles.
Also making its Asia-Pacific debut is the Aquila 46 Yacht, which recently won the Yacht Style Awards 2026 in the Power Catamaran 12-16m category. This model boasts an 'Explorer' style with a commanding high freeboard, blending bold aesthetics with serious offshore capability. Its impressive beam creates interior volume that feels remarkably spacious, while thoughtful design maximizes privacy and connection.
The Australian debut of the Aquila 42 Coupe is another highlight. Developed to set a new direction for cruising catamarans, the 42 Coupe features two cabins set in each of the hulls, providing privacy and versatility for both day cruising and overnight adventures. The unique Aquila Hydro Glide® foil system enhances fuel efficiency, delivering 40% greater efficiency compared to traditional monohulls.
Complementing these debuts are other models from Aquila's Yacht range, including the award-winning 54 Yacht, designed for long-range cruising and entertaining, and the 50 Yacht, which offers refined finishes and an expansive flybridge for al fresco entertainment. The 42 Yacht, the most compact in the range, delivers exceptional space and comfort in an intimate package.
Rounding off the display is the Aquila 32 Sport, a nimble boat with twin Mercury Verado V6 225HP engines and a stable beam, providing thrilling performance for up to 22 passengers. Its deck layout transforms from sunning platform to social hub with ease, and it includes an appointed cabin for overnight capabilities, a rarity in this size class.
Alain Raas, Global Brand Director for Aquila Catamarans, expressed excitement about the showcase, stating, "We have something for everyone with the range of models on display. Whether you are a sailor, looking for speed, long-range cruising, and everything in between, you can find a boat to match with Aquila."
The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, scheduled from May 21 to 24, 2026, is anticipated to attract over 45,000 visitors, solidifying its status as the Southern Hemisphere's largest marine event. Aquila's display will be located at Marina F Pier. For more information, visit Aquila's official website.
